Study of shows rear-facing car seats may cause injury in a rear-ender

Safety advocates urge parents to keep children in rear-facing seats, saying the study focused on unusual crashes.

For years we have been told to keep children in rear facing car seats especially at very young ages.  However, a new study finds that rear seats may cause a child to be more prone to a head injury in one of the most common types of crashes: the rear end collision.
