GM and Law Firm Accused of Conspiring to Cover Up Ignition Defect Problem

In the motion, the Texas attorney seeks documents that usually are covered by attorney-client privilege


In the latest on the GM class action lawsuits regarding defective ignition switches that have injured and killed consumers: A Texas plaintiff’s lawyer has filed a motion in federal court accusing GM and their legal counsel of the “cover up” and attempt to “bury the evidence”.  If true, this could lead to additional sanctions and penalties and possibly punitive damages against the auto maker and their outside counsel.
