4 stretches of freeways near Los Angeles tally most big rig crashes per mile annually

When a tanker truck carrying 8,800 gallons of gasoline exploded in flames four years ago under an overpass on the 60 Freeway, the effects of the blast were felt for days across the region’s highway system.

With the port of Los Angeles and an extensive highway system in and around the L.A. basin, it is no wonder that four stretches of freeway near this area have the highest number of big rig truck crashes.  This is a good article from the L.A.
