CDC Proposes Better Diagnosis and Documentation of Traumatic Brain Injury

Ongoing efforts by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to reduce the population impact of traumatic brain injury (TBI) are documented in the May/June issue of The Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation, official journal of the Brain Injury Association of America.

In an ongoing effort to address the problem of traumatic brain injury (TBI) in the U.S. the Centers for Disease Control have issued updated guidelines and procedures to track TBI.  This includes a national database which will track demographics of persons diagnosed with brain injury due to trauma.
