SFPD chief talks pedestrian safety with students

San Francisco police Chief Greg Suhr handed out bright yellow wristbands to middle school students.

Steven M. Sweat‘s insight:

Young people are particularly vulnerable to pedestrian accidents causing injury and death.  This is especially true if they engage in activities that can distract them while walking to school, home or other places and are using cell phones to text, talk or listen to music. Glad to see pubic safety education being made a priority for law enforcement agencies in California.
