The driver involved in a deadly car accident in San Francisco may be a driver with the popular ride service Uber.
As ride sharing services like Uber become more common in urban areas like San Francisco and Los Angeles, it is inevitable that drivers for these services will be involved in crashes. This auto v. pedestrian fatality incident is a tragic example. I recently wrote a blog post about California’s new regulations of ride shares requiring insurance for both the driver and a million dollar minimum supplemental policy for Uber, Lyft and other similar companies.
