One killed in early morning crash on Rosedale Highway west of Bakersfield
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 5:14 a.m. on Rosedale Highway near Mayer Avenue.
Highway accidents in the early morning hours are, unfortunately all too common on California freeways. There are different theories as to why the late night and early a.m. are more prone to auto accidents such as lower visibility, higher percentage of drunk or drowsy drivers, etc. The main thing to keep in mind if you are driving during this time of the day is to remain alert and drive at an appropriate speed for roadway conditions. This will help prevent an early morning freeway roll over or other serious auto accident.
