Runner’s World half-marathon participant hit by car during race

The 25-year-old injured her hip and ankle during the hit-and-run.

While it is not uncommon for runners and joggers to be struck by vehicles when out alone or in small groups on the roadway, this is just sheer stupid negligence on the part of this driver.  When you see orange cones or other indication of activity requiring caution, USE CAUTION!!
